Something rich and strange...

Koala's thoughts (will be turned into a spiel later):
Don't hurt me, but this is the first episode of SeaChange this season that I have really enjoyed. I'll go into more detail later, but I thought I'd better update the site before you think I've lost interest.
The Angus storyline was a pure delight - the surfboard with the bracelet inside was very touching. I also loved the way he wanted to "hold" Karen, and the look on her face as he did so. I loved the meeting in the city and the sympathetic, sad way Mark Richards was watching Angus' face and also his words:
"Then when you've almost forgotten what is you loved so much about surfing, you might have time to go surfing again".
The Court reviewer, Warwick Munro is great! I was dubious, sceptical and worried, but I think he's going to prove to be an excellent comic foil. I'm sure Max and Laura will end up together ultimately, but it's not going to be an easy road ahead!
Max singing Laura's praises was great! He was so loyal and adorable.
I burst out laughing when Warwick seized the bottle of wine from Laura's grasp.
| Warwick | Ah look, well I'm actually just as happy not to drink tonight. |
| Laura | Well I'm not, I've had a shocking day |
| Warwick | Well there's no need. (Warwick gives Laura a sympathetic gaze as she stares back at him, baffled) I can help you with this. |
| Laura | With what? |
| Warwick | I don't want you to be embarrassed but Max told me all about your difficulty and look - I promise you he didn't want to tell me. I had to virtually drag it out of him (Laura glares across the room at Max) |
| Laura | What difficulty???? |
| Warwick | It's ok |
| Laura | What exactly did Max say??? |
| Warwick | Alcoholism is nothing to be ashamed of |
| Laura | I'm not an alcoholic!!! |
| Warwick | Good girl, good, we can work through this together if you want because my hope - my sincere hope more than anything is that you and I can be here for each other. |
Poor Max though, little does he know that his attempts to give Warwick a disgust of Laura have failed and that Warwick is still interested!
